About
Fremont for Everyone advocates for inclusive, affordable housing for our residents, and ensures Fremont is welcoming of new neighbors, while remaining a wonderful community for living closer to work, raising a family, and aging in place – a home for everyone!
Fremont for Everyone (FFE) began in summer of 2018 as Friends of the Navigation Center, in supporting the approval (and eventual realization) of a Housing Navigation Center in Fremont, despite intense public opposition.
Since then, FFE has forged a partnership with California YIMBY, in tackling the broader issue of housing equity and affordability.
In August of 2021, Fremont for Everyone adopted a formal set of ByLaws and Governance Procedures, and conducted our first Leadership elections. What began as a loose coalition of homeless advocates has now evolved into a structured, well-organized advocacy group with growing legitimacy and influence.
Our focus, however, has remain consistent as we continues to focus on the following general target areas of interest:
Local Advocacy focused on the Unhoused
Local Advocacy focused on General Housing Policy
State-wide Advocacy focused on General Housing Policy
Public Education on Housing Issues
Direct Volunteer Opportunities
